Gold and White Herringbone Mother-of-Pearl Vase

The Mother-of -Pearl Vase with Golden herringbone is made in the Philippines in the Cavite region. Our craftsmen harvest capiz, also called mother-of-pearl from the Philippines off this region. The mother-of-pearl is then soaked in a liquid, which will make it malleable. The matrial thus obtained is superimposed in several layers on a mould. This exceptional vase then begins to take shape. The craftsmen then carefully polish the entire piece, for a smooth and delicate finish. The vase is then entirely painted by hand
