"Fortuny", dessert plates

Luminous colours and extraordinary oriental patterns are what make L'Objet's "Fortuny" collection so distinctive. The dinnerware is made of high-quality earthenware and is refined with 24-carat gold. In 2012 the legendary Italian fabrics company Fortuny made a partnership with L’Objet, the American luxury brand for exclusive dining and home accessories, with a view to presenting a unique collection for the dining room as well as high-quality home accessories under the name "L'Objet pour Fortuny".

The Fortuny brand is well known for its beautiful patterns and colours. The magnificent designs go right back to Renaissance artist Mariano Fortuny, who let himself and his art be inspired by his adopted home town of Venice. Among other things, the company produces hand-printed fabrics which remind one of oriental ornaments and Venetian palaces.
